Hello, I need to ask you a question. The two pods I received from you already work perfectly. I have one problem with moving your pods without turning off my vacuum pump. Is there a way that I can move your pods around my table without turning off my vacuum pump. With the original pods from Brembana, we just lift the bottom lip and it releases the vacuum so we can move the pod then just drop it back on the table Let me know if you have a valve that can be used with your pods. Thanks

    Hi, Thomas,
it happened to us that customers with a Brembana CMS machine would tell me what you are telling me.
Actually, in the old Brembana suction pods, there was a thicker lip seal and this method of detaching the pod is common in Brembana customers.
However, the lip of our pod is thin and you risk damaging it if you pinch it. It's thin because the vacuum plan is composed of many cavities to improve the grip and reduce water planing.
I don't know if a valve works, but you can do this test:
Disconnect the pipe from the side of the distributor or from the base of the suction cup.
If the vacuum force decreases and the suction cup comes off then the valve may work.
the bigger the pod, the heavier it is and the less effective this thing will obviously be. But the pods are designed to have great gripping force. Imagine that a 200mm suction cup has a gripping force of 211Kg.
    Then:
First test: disconnect the pipe and pry with a finger and see if it comes off.
Second test: halfway along the length of the tube put a 3-way switch. Halfway it goes into the atmosphere (open the way to lose), open it goes to vacuum. Valve to be rotated 90 °, not 180 °

  2. Hello, my name is Tom, located, Florida. USA. I have a CMS Brembana CNC machine Junior 1.40 for glass working. I am looking to replace some of my suction pods.  They are 8” in diameter and 4” high. With the rubber lip around the outside. I see you have what I need, I was just concerned about the shipping charges. How much would it cost approximately for 4 pods to my factory? My zip code is 33063.

Hi Tom, the prices do not include the shipping cost because they vary widely among countries.
You can add 4 suction pods to the cart and start the checkout process. Adding your shipping address you will have the total cost including the shipping to your factory.
I have simulated it and the shipping cost for all the 4 round suction pods is around 70 $.
